So today’s post is all about my favorite “beauty buys,” when in need of makeup whether it be an emergency or a late notice you weren’t aware of, I’m sure this list will help out someone in their time of need! You can find most of these products in most CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, Target, and other convenience stores. I hope you guys find this list of products useful and let me know what you think about them as well! Most of these products are under $20 so it’s really worth giving them a shot!
Every 23nd of every other month, I will do a post called, “In my makeup bag this month,” and I will share of my newest findings in these posts. I hope you find my ratings for each product very reliable (although everyone’s different so- keep in mind, what may work for me, may not be the best for everyone.)
Since this is the first- I’ll share with you my favorite makeup products that I have purchased from a nearby drug store such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Rite Aid, and/or etc. What I meant by “favorite,” is pretty much what seems to work for me. With that being said, lets start with mascara!
When I look for a mascara, I tend to look for a mascara that curls my eyelashes more than the length, volume, etc. I find that very necessary in choosing the right mascara for me due to the fact that my eyelashes are just like my hair, just like my hair is. The mascara that I rely on from a drug store is from L’oreal Paris, Telescopic in the shade carbon black. It really curls better than most mascara’s that I’ve tried from Ulta! It works amazing when you layer it with Benefit’s Roller Lash then apply Dior’s Addict It-Lash. If you think that’s overkill, try just Telescopic then the Dior’s.
My favorite concealer is from Physician’s Formula, Concealer Rx. I think it works the best because it’s surprisingly long lasting and amazingly, very heavy duty. If I feel like I need something more than my usual concealer (which happens to be BareMineral’s powder concealer- my most favorite concealer ever), I can rely on Physician’s Formula!
My favorite eyebrow product has to be Maybelline NY expert wear twin brow & eye set. Depending on my current hair color situation at the moment, I usually end up getting this in blonde or light brown. I love it because it’s just the perfect shade for my eyebrows, it’s really nice for those who have thin eyebrows.
My favorite eyeliner is Wet n Wild’s, Megaliner Liquid Eyeliner. Not only is it under $4 in most convenience store’s but it works just like any other liquid liner!
Last product is my favorite drug store color corrector, another one from NYX. It has all the shades I may ever need and its definitely affordable.
Those are my top 5 convenience store picks that I still am currently using as of today. Tell me what you think! Leave me your feedback and your opinions in the comments below, I would love to read them. Thanks for reading, I hope you find it useful!
